Our tour with MTB Guatemala was easily the highlight of our trip to the country and made it one of our favorite trips to date. The riding was epic. Diverse terrain ranging from loamy forest singletrack, to technical and steep mountain ditches, to narrow ridges with panoramic canyon views,... read more to freeriding active volcanoes! Brendan and his team put together the trip of a lifetime. We were able to discover so much culture, history, and scenes we wouldn't have otherwise found if not for the well linked routes they put together. Lots of singletrack!! Brendan and Maria are incredibly skilled riders with backgrounds in racing all kinds of mountain biking disciplines (enduro, xc, etc.). They remained aware of our skill levels suggesting more or less difficult lines depending on the rider. They were also safety oriented and recognized fatigue, and the effects of the country's heat. We truly felt their passion and joy for riding and it always kept the mood fun, friendly, and encouraging. Brendan and his team were professional throughout; our customized trip was well detailed in the booking process and they were quick to answer our questions and were able to accommodate our requests for accommodation and transportation. Their equipment and vehicles were in excellent condition. We brought our own bikes, but noticed their rentals were also in excellent shape. They were always on time and ready, and flexible to change. Our non-riding highlights were the delicious food throughout, camping with panoramic views of active volcanoes, staying at their mountain cabin, riding to- and visiting Mayan ruins, and ending a big ride at the beach in a beautiful surfing villa! I highly recommend booking with MTB Guatemala. Their tours alone are definitely worth making a trip to the country.

Rad bike tours in Guatemalaās less travelled highlands. The raw landscapes and trails will not disappoint. Brendan does a great job of guiding; making sure everything is taken care of, from top notch bikes to custom built routes and comfy hotels.
2 days of technical enduro riding around Lake AtitĆ”n with raw agricultural trails and cliff-lined singletrack with views that will most certainly make you say “wow”
