Spent an amazing few days with Brendan, Maria and the rest of the mountain bike Guatemala crew. They toured us around the amazing (and diverse) riding that Guatemala has. Would highly recommend for a once in a lifetime experience!
Best experience for my first time mountain biking ever! Choosing to do the 2 day Tecpan - Lake Atitlan tourā I admit, I was nervous in the beginning, since I road bike when Iām at homeāalso going with my brother who is on another advanced level than I amā but... read more our guides Alex, Nefta, and Eric made this trip such a great learning experience for me that I will return for more!
Knowing their backyard well and studying what I could / could not do they guided me into the next turns well. I did have a few minor spills but nothing enough to make me want to stopāalso, first aid skills, on point.
Not only do they take you into secluded places that only people on foot goā they also teach you about the history of Guatemala, taking you into numerous eco systems that pass through ancient Mayan sites, routes, that head straight into breathe taking views. Pictures donāt do it justice
I promiseā Even if you choose to do a beginner, intermediate or advanced ride, you will not regret it. This is the best way to discover the beauty and culture that Guate has to to offer. I feel closer to my parents country more than ever. Unforgettable trip! Bravo! Era espectacular!! Gracias por todo muchachos

My daughter and I enjoyed an action-packed 2-day tour in mid-June in the Atitlan/Tecpan/Chimaltenango triangle and lucked out with no rain during our tour. Brendan had custom-designed our time to maximize the riding and the views. He is really knowledgeable on the region and the terrain, and made sure we... read more hit multiple viewpoints and cultural interest points along the way. Seeing the indigenous pueblos and farms made all the climbing worthwhile. It absolutely wouldnāt have been possible to see what we did by just driving around. It was a great combination of a cardio workout, appropriate technical level and colorful culture. The bikes and the crew were top-notch and took good care of us, and the photos we received afterwards brought back lots of great moments from the ride. Highly recommend!
