Tecpán has been drawing more and more attention in the local mountain biking community – and with good reason! Located about 45 minutes from Antigua, Tecpán lies at 2300msnm and is the center of Kaqchikel culture. Surrounded by magnificent mountains, this region offers a great variety of trails and vast terrain for every rider.

RIDE DESCRIPTION

La Ruta del Venado is a hard cross country tour, which passes through one of the last remaining area with deer in the country. We will climb through deep pine forests, connecting some of the best trails Tecpán has to offer. Venture out and explore the deep forests of Tecpán on this epic all-day ride.

We rent modern equipment and mountain bikes. All of our rental bikes are two years or newer and are professionally maintained and serviced.

With years of experience riding, racing and exploring in Guatemala, all our routes are carefully designed and unique to our company.

DAY TOUR DETAILS

• A high quality bike is included with your tour (2 years old or newer).
• Prices vary by number of people in your group – tour prices go down with groups of 2 or more people.
• Bringing your own bike? Ask about our discounts.
• Small snacks / water will be provided for your tour, as well as mechanical assistance.
• Our mountain bike day tours can be reserved with a non-refundable deposit of 50% – the remainder to be paid before the tour leaves.
